Division 2: only four days after her new national record in Poznan, Vera Hoffmann showed no weakness in Chorzow, finishing at a strong second place with 4.08’78, only 0.1sec behind the European indoor champion Bobocea. Only minutes before, Veras coach and partner Bob Bertemes run a 5000m PB of 14.07 to take the 7th place for Luxemburg in Division 2.
Division 1: three Wings for Athletes runners represented Belgium.
Lisa Rooms struggled a bit in the warm climate, but still delivered her third best career time with 15.44, position 10. Similar situation for Clément Deflandre: third best career time over 3000m steeple with 8.36, position 8. And Enzo Noel honored his first national selection on the track, position 9 with quite good 14.02 over 5000m.

Ordizia, Spain – WA Challenger meeting: Italian Mohad Abdikadar unfortunately fell down in the last lap, while fighting for a top position… No luck!
Meeting International de Carquefou, France: great results from a small Italian group! In her first serious 5000m track race, Giulia Aprile run a promising 15.39 – position 3 (picture below). Also Federica Zanne broke for the first time the 16min barrier: 15.52 – position 5. In a perfectly paced 5000m men race by Joao Bussotti during 7 laps, the winning time was a strong 13.14 and Ahmed Ouhda took benefit of that field, running his next PB with 13.41 on position 6.
Appingedam (NL), 10km City run: Astrid Verhoeven used the opportunity to put on her racing shoes for the first time since Rotterdam Marathon in April. She took 8th position.
Int. High Jump Meeting Sinner, Germany: multiple national champion and record holder from Morocco Saad Hammouda cleared 2m17, ex-aequo with 4 other jumpers from position two to position 6.
