Personal information
Vera joined track club at age 7. She played other sports (volleyball) but never stopped with T&F. At age 12, she started training more seriously. With the qualification for U20 European Championships in 2015, she realized that more is possible, increasing training volume and performance over the years (started with 4:45 1500m in 2014 to now being the national record holder with 4:11.44 outdoors). Since September 2022, her boyfriend and distance runner Bob Bertemes is coaching Vera.
