Alice began her athletics career at the age of 15, making a significant life choice by moving from Niscemi, where her family lives, to Palermo (Sicily), a beautiful island in southern Italy.
In 2015, she reached the 400m final at the European Junior Championships and won the silver medal with the Italian 4x400m relay team. Following these results, she was called up by the senior national team for the DécaNation in Paris, which she had to give up due to an injury.
In 2018, she moved to Rome to train under Marta Oliva, made a comeback, clocking 53.45 seconds in the 400m race. In 2020, she won her first senior Italian title, running the final in 52.70 seconds. She is the 400m Italian Champion for 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2024.
In 2021, she joined the Italian Army as a professional athlete. She set the Italian record (3:30.32) at the European Championships with the 4x400m relay team and won the gold medal at the World Relay Championships in Silesia, Poland.
In 2023, she won the silver medal with the 4x400m relay at the Istanbul European Indoor Championships, setting a new Italian national record of 3:28.61. In 2024, she won the silver medal with the 4x400m mixed relay at the Rome EC, setting another national record with a time of 3:10.69.
She participated in the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Olympics, where she ran in the 4x400m mixed relay final, finishing in 6th place with her teammates. She also set her personal best (51.07 seconds) during the „repechage“ round of the 400m individual race.
