Background
Irene started with athletics back in 2006 at school. She was a skater, but her mum insisted to try another sport. She loved the competitions and the speed since the first day. In 2011 she became part of the National team U20, and then from 2013 member of the National senior team. Since 2015, Irene is part of the professional athletic club „Esercito“. Together with the daily workouts, Irene never left her higher studies: she owns 2 degrees and a master, with a love for foreign languages (she speaks Italian, English, French, Spanish and a little bit Arabic). She loves reading book sagas in her free time.
