Andreas Lindgreen is a middle-distance runner born on February 18, 1998 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Lindgreen started running at a young age, and he participated in his first race when he was just 14 years old. In his early days of running, Lindgreen focused on short on 800 meter, but eventually, he moved into 1500 meter, which is his main distance. Lindgreen was very talented in his young ages where he become junior national champion 35 times at many different distances and broke lot of junior national records. Lindgreen’s breakthrough in his running career came in 2017 when he first participated in the Danish indoor Championship and become national champion for the first time and later that year finished in 4th at the European Junior Championship in Grosseto, Italy. In 2021, Lindgreen participated the indoor season very well. He became national champion again and qualified for the European indoor championships in Toruń, Poland. In the heats he was very close to go to the final with a new personal best, 3.41.25. Since the last years Lindgreen had been selected many times for the Danish national team in different championships.
